Biocat+ Electron™ is a dry air fogging application. It is a patented product that combines low levels of hypochlorite salts and ozone in a new unique non-toxic disinfectant against known pathogens associated with egg laying facilities.
The process provides total disinfection of air and all surfaces. There are no blank spots. The operator has no need to wear respiratory equipment. Access to facilities is immediate after application, without any down time.
HOW IT WORKS
Biocat+ Electron™ is electro-oxygenated water (EOW) obtained by electrolysis from water and non-iodized kitchen salt. CITADEL ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS UK LTD (CES UK Ltd) is the sole UK agent for Steriplant N® distribution.
As an ecological biocide, Biocat+ Electron™ works at the sub-cellular level. EOW is redox positive, lacks electrons and hence trends towards electrical neutrality by acquiring electron from the environment. When EOW encounters micro-organisms, it pulls the electrons from their surface membranes, leading to a physical disruption and destruction of said organisms.
Certified and tested in Europe
EOW has been developed for many years in Europe, mainly in Switzerland and Slovenia, and has been tested for European standards with regards to Biocides in conjunction with the Veterinary Faculty
and the Institute for Environmental Hygiene Ljubljana, Slovenia. It is a registered Biocide.
